A
few hours ago the "demon" commander, Karactul, was captured by Rahnir’s
forces and is now being held in an undisclosed location for
interrogation and imprisonment. Karactul was found tampering with the fault line on the west coast with forces near Mt. St. Helens. |

When
shots began firing in remote regions all over the west coast Rahnir’s
forces were called in to investigate. When they arrived they found a
large battalion guarding a specific zone directly above a fault line,
while nearby a crew was spotted working on the fault line. As well as
the crews, Karactul, the demon commander was found supervising the whole
operation. With the evidence presented, it was determined that Karactul held a lot of responsibility for the recent earthquakes on the west coast. As well, with Mt. St. Helens being so close to the crew’s suspicions were raised and brought relief to the scientist who had done quantum testing on the volcano a few months earlier. This being the first time Karactul was spotted out in the open, the order was given to apprehend him. This was achieved through the use of the now standardized non-lethal crystal weapons and through very advanced coordination between the various teams. Despite the use of non-lethal weapons on the attacking side, the defending side used the highly explosive bazooka projectiles, previously used by a multitude of cooperating weres. To prevent heavy casualties, individuals of Rahnir’s force had to fire upon the large projectiles before they reached the peak of their arced path and fell unto the forces. As well as the standard weapons used by both sides, Rahnir ordered a new experimental weapon to be tested on one of the individuals in Karactul’s main guard. The publishing of this weapon’s workings have been prohibited. When it was used in the battle the target individual completely exploded, much to the horror of the weapon’s user. At current the weapon is considered inhumane and is under lockup, but further testing is suspected on non-living targets for the purpose of increasing range and efficiency of the weapon. Karactul was first reported at having threatened a teenager into working for him, and has been linked to earlier incidents. Based upon the damage he has caused, and still wishes to cause, he is not expected for release at all. |
